After working as an Adviser and for Simply Biz as a trainer, Michael decided to create his own exam the Practical Investment Planning qualification, which is an SCQF Level 9 paper.
He set this up as when he first started in the industry having taken his exams he was in front of his first client and realised that he hadn’t been taught the practical realities of sitting in front of a client and giving advice.
We speak about how Michael got into the industry, why he set up his own exam and the benefits of real practical experience/training of doing the role as a Financial Adviser.
